Dr. William Francis Jr.

M.D., MBA, Orthopedic Spine Surgeon

Dr. Francis has extensive expertise in reconstructive spine surgery, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of complex conditions affecting the neck (cervical spine) and lower back (lumbar spine). He utilizes advanced surgical techniques to restore spinal function, alleviate pain, and improve patient mobility.

Dr. William Francis earned his Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Psychology
from theUniversity of Texas at Austin and went on to obtain his Doctorate from Baylor College of Medicine.

After completing his medical degree, he received training in both general and orthopedic surgery
and pursued three years of specialized fellowship training in spinal surgery. His advanced training included certifications from Harvard Medical School, Columbia University in New York, and the University of Toronto in Canada, equipping him with expertise in a wide range of spinal surgery techniques.

EDUCATION

In 2003, Dr. Francis attended Rice University, where he earned an MBA. Previously, he worked in spinal rehabilitation as a staff physician at Shriners C.C. Hospital and TIRR Memorial Hermann. Since November 2007, he has focused on the non-surgical treatment of spinal disorders.
